The five permanent Multiverse rifts in Gotham. New characters enter the city through one of the five rifts. The large circles on the Location Map show the entire area where a rift can occur, though the rift itself is never any larger than twice the size of a Stargate.
Located near each rift is an associated Riftie Shelter that helps feed, clothe and house those newly arrived through the rifts.
