The Map of Gotham (below) is separated into four major areas: Mainland, North island, Middle island, and South island. Each area is further subdivided into districts. The districts are listed with their corresponding map letter in parentheses below.

Mainland
The Mainland includes the parts of Gotham County that were part of the original Gotham bubble, and surrounding areas that were added when the bubble expanded.
Bristol (A)
The north edge of the original Gotham bubble, this area contains suburbs, mansions and rich homes, including the posh Gotham Heights and Crest Hill neighborhoods.

Somerset (B)
The west edge of the original Gotham bubble, this part of Gotham County is mostly undeveloped farmland and forest.

Riverlands (AA)
This stretch of green land to the south of the city surrounds a new river that feeds into Gotham Harbor, settled between the prairie lands close to the city, and the desert peninsula to the south.

Pocket Desert (BB)
Grasslands give way to scrub, rock, sand and dust in a desert tucked between prairie and sea, very much resembling the deserts near Rachel, Nevada.

Grasslands (CC)
Most of the area surrounding the original bubble of Gotham to the north and west is prairie grasslands, with tall grasses and spotted with trees.

Peninsula Desert (DD)
Directly south across the harbor from the city, and just on the south side of the Riverlands, lays a dusty scrub desert that curls out onto a jutting peninsula.

North Island
The north island of the city reaches from the northern bend of the Gotham River to the Sprang River tributary.
The Hill (C)
An inner-city neighborhood plagued by poverty, crime and danger. After the Multiverse Cataclysm, it is little-used.

Amusement Mile (D)
Once a tourist destination full of hotels, amusement parks, boardwalks and nautical amusements, it's now where the city's once-rich and elite have retreated.

Otisburg (E)
A lower-class residential area, largely abandoned after the Multiverse Cataclysm.
The Scituate (F)
Location of the major sports stadiums and related entertainments in the city.

Newton (G)
A residential area just south of Amusement Mile, where some who still cling to posh pretensions live.
Sheldon Park (H)
Nightclub and shipyard district, full of enormous buildings and warehouses, as well as the old trolley yards.
Burnley (I)
Historically an area of artistic development and civil rights movements, now a rather racially segregated residential area.
Crime Alley (J)
A formerly upper-class neighborhood turned slum, it is the site of Thomas and Martha Wayne's murder.

The Bowery (K)
Gotham's very worst neighborhood, next door to Crime Alley.
Robbinsville (L)
A wealthy residential neighborhood clustered around Cape Carmine.
Middle Island
The city's middle island includes Mercey Island and the land between the Sprang River and the Finger River/Miller Harbor.
Mercey Island (M)
Not a true island, but a stretch of green, mostly-undeveloped land where the Sprang River splits.

M2: D'Angelo Sewage Treatment Plant
Coventry (N)
Formerly-upscale residential and entertainment district, now somewhat tense due to ethnic and class tensions. The Little Tokyo neighborhood, near Robinson Park, is no longer a place where Japanese residents cluster, but it retains its name.
Chelsea (O)
The University district, also home to nightclubs, coffeehouses and other artistic entertainments.

Robinson Park (P)
The largest public park in Gotham City was previously inhabited by Poison Ivy but is now accessible to all residents, including open park land and various cultural points of interest.

Upper East Side (Q)
A central location for Mafia influence, the Upper East Side is mostly family homes and business that support day-to-day life.

South Island
The southern island of the city reaches from the Finger River/Miller Harbor to the south bend of the Gotham River.
Upper West Side (R)
A crime-riddled district before the Multiverse Cataclysm, the area isn't much better off but is at least still inhabitable.

This area of mostly Asian inhabitants is largely gang-controlled, but also the site of several cultural mainstays in the city.

Midtown (T)
A blend of theater, fashion, upscale retail and middle-class residences dot this community toward the south of the city.

Old Gotham (U)
Old buildings and twisting streets mark the center of Gotham City's earliest days, the historical heart of the city.

The Hollows (V)
An area of the city saturated in magical energy, where magical people and creatures tend to congregate. It's become a very popular residential and small-business area surrounding Grant Park.

An area popular with organized crime and known for police corruption, it houses the decommissioned Naval Yard and several docks.
